I hold a Master’s degree in Media Studies with specialization in electronic media and a certificate in English-Hungarian translation and interpreting. I am native speaker of Hungarian, speak English fluently and have knowledge of other foreign languages as well (German, Spanish, French). My experience includes working in office roles for more than three years where I have had the chance to practice not only project monitoring and administration but translation, digital editing and customer service too. My expertise lies in ensuring the smooth implementation of projects let they be long-term (e.g. research projects, dissemination projects) or short-term (e.g. publishing brochures and other materials, organizing events). I am highly organized and am a great communicator with very good written communication skills.
As I am able to multitask, there would be no problem for me with working on multiple projects.
In my employment at Gengo Inc., I have delivered many different translations while keeping the quality high. During my employment at the Centre for Agricultural Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, I have gained knowledge in translating texts related to agriculture and plant biology. Additionally, I am a volunteering translator of the fitness related website metalozott-testek.hu. To further my knowledge in translation, I took part in Language Bistro’s course titled Project Management for Translators. |
