Source text - Greek 1.
iii.
Translation - English 1. THE APPROACH
Usually, hazard analysis in production units is conducted based on the product flow charts.
In mass catering, various kinds of food products are involved in the production of the end product. Moreover, the range of the menu is very wide. These alone, as already mentioned, differentiate the approach of hazard analysis.
In mass catering, hazard analysis is approached by means of “Processing Method”, namely by classifying the several flow charts in a restaurant in joint processes with categorized treatments.
Product flow charts for the restaurants can be classified in the following 3 basic categories of Product Processing Methods:
i. Reception– Storage – Preparation – Cold Holding – Assembly of End Product – Serving to the consumer (without thermal processing; defrosting included)
ii. Reception– Storage – Preparation – Thermal Processing – Hot Holding – Assembly of End Product – Serving to the consumer (defrosting included)
iii. Reception– Storage – Preparation – Thermal Processing – Refrigeration – Cold Holding - Reheating – Hot Holding - Assembly of End Product – Serving to the consumer (what is noteworthy is the repeated temperature trips in the hazardous temperature zone).
The HACCP system provides monitoring of all hazards in each one of the above methods of processing.
Some stages, such as thermal processing, require the monitoring of several hazards related to various food products. For this reason, every food processing stage can have multiple control points for different product hazards.
While in other stages, such as refrigeration, the control points are common for all food products stored in the refrigerator.

Source text - English High performance guidelines
The Cool-system is designed for applications requiring a very high number of stimuli. To obtain the highest possible performance from the Cool-system different guidelines must be fulfilled.
Performance
The performance of the Cool-system is depending on many factors:
Used protocol; E.g. output power, repetition rate and number of pulses
Coil and cable temperatures
Ambient temperature
Cooling system status
Temperature
Magnetic stimulating coils become warm during use, because energy is deposited in the coil due to the electrical resistance. The energy loss is very dependent on the output power. The losses increases by the square of the output power.
To prevent fast overheating of the coil the Cool-system is designed with an external Coil Cooler Unit circulating a special cooling liquid.
The **** includes a thermo sensor, which disables the stimulator if the coil surface becomes more than 41°C (106°F).
The coil also includes two thermo sensors monitoring the cable temperature. If the cable temperature becomes too high, the switch opens for approx. 15 minutes to allow for cooling down. During this period the display indicates 0°C. The thermo switches are located on the power cable and inside the coil handle.
Cooling system
The cooling system in the **** is based on a reservoir of cooling liquid and a heat exchanger unit for cooling down the liquid.
A heat exchanger is a unit which uses the ambient air as cooling. The lower this ambient temperature is, the better is the cooling. If the ambient temperature is too high the cooling performance is limited. Keep room temperature below 22°C (72°F).
Cooling media and air bubbles
During use of ***** or between patients it is possible to have a build-up of air inside the coil housing which can decrease the cooling performance of the system.
Therefore always slowly shake the coil before using it to verify that there is no air in the system.
If there is air in the system a “gurgling” or “splashing” sound will be heard when the coil is shaken.
To remove the air from the coil housing, turn on the Coil Cooler unit and keep the coil upside down with the housing down and the handle up.
Continue until no more air bubbles can be heard or seen in the tubes from the coil to the Coil Cooler unit.
Note: small air bubbles inside the liquid during pump circulation at high speed can be generated, which is normal.
Heat build-up
During stimulations and between trains heat will be accumulated in the coil housing, coil handle and cables. The temperature inside the coil housing is regulated by the external Coil Cooler, while the handle and cable temperatures will increase if the pauses between trains and between protocols are too short. If the temperatures in the handle and cable are too high the built-in thermo sensors will stop the system until they are cooled down.
