Vapor layer that generally forms at the zero degree temperature on the front and side windows of the busses, is one of the main problems to be solved for the manufacturing company and design engineers. Likewise one of the most important parameters of driving safety is to provide the visibility adequacy on the front and side windows. This article consists of the optimization of intra-vehicle windshield air blowing canal that is used in the defrosting of the vapor later that may be formed on the windshield of the bus. Instead of performing the optimization studies by trial and error method and thus increasing the costs, it is aimed to execute such studies in computer environment. Thus HAD analyses that are performed over a mathematics air canal model are verified via the tests performed in cold room laboratory on the real vehicle. The tests are executed by providing the condensation conditions on a full-scale bus in the cold room and are observed by photographing the defrosting of the windshield vapor exiting from the air canal minute by minute.

Bu yazı otobüsün ön camlarına kadar yayılabilecek buğu katmanlarını çözmek için araç içi hava üfleyen ön cam kanalının optimizasyonunu içermektedir. Optimizasyon incelemelerini yapmak için deneme yanılma methodunu kullanıp maliyetleri yükseltmek yerine, bu incelemeleri bilgisayar ortamında gerçekleştirmek hedeflenmiştir. Bu sayede matematik hava kanalı modelinde kullanılan HAD analizi gerçek aracın içindeki soğuk oda laboratuvar ındaki testlerde onaylanmıştır. Source text - English AUTOMOTIVE STRIPPER-TYPE COTTON HARVESTER BUILT AS AN INTEGRAL UNIT FOR COTTON HARVESTING, CLEANING AND CONDITIONING
Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an automotive cotton harvester of the stripper type, comprising a system for cleaning harvested cotton. In particular the present invention relates to an operational unit that while it is moving in the field picking and cleaning cotton, it simultaneously packages it in compacted and stable modules or bales, which allow a more appropriate handling of cotton in farms, its transportation and the ginning process, preserving its quality and making these processes more efficient.
Background of the Invention
The means and processes for harvesting cotton at global levels have undergone remarkable changes in recent decades, particularly from manual harvest, mainly used up to the 1960s, up to complete mechanical harvest used nowadays in about 90% of the total produced cotton.
A variety of systems and equipment have been developed, experienced, used and discarded, reflecting the importance of this issue in practical aspects as well as in issues related to social and economic aspects, efficiency and quality of crops.
In recent decades, a number of initiatives related to mechanical cotton harvest commonly deal with devices and media pursuing ways to compact the harvested cotton.
On one hand, some developments tend to increase the amount of cotton which can be stored in the harvester hopper or basket by compressing the cotton with various devices.

In other cases some developments are intended to form
stable bales or cotton modules for a better post-harvest
handling.
Among said developments, U.S. Patent No. 4793126 in the
name of DEERE & Co. discloses compacting means comprising
fork assemblies, hydraulically powered, for compressing the
cotton in successive steps by pressing the cotton backwards
within the storage hopper or basket, so as to increase its
compactness.
With similar objectives, a number of patent documents
disclose devices comprising rotating shafts with fins, like
augers or screw conveyors, which act inside the harvester
basket or hopper.
Embodiments of this kind can be observed in patents U.S.
No. 4888940 of 1989, to DEERE & Co.; U.S. No. 5533932 of
1996, in the name of CASE Corporation and U.S. No. 5584762 of
1995, to CASE Corporation. All cited patents disclose said
screw conveyors which rotate in different positions or ways
and move or push cotton to less dense areas such as the
corners of the hopper, compressing it and increasing the
amount of cotton per filling batch.
Other patent documents also described control devices for
cotton level control inside the storage chamber, by using
fill level sensors and actuators which start or stop the
augers, like U.S. patents No. 6208259 B1 and U.S. No. 6366210
B1, granted in 2001 and 2002 respectively, in the name of
CASE Corporation and U.S. Patent No. 6263650 B1, in the name
of DEERE & Co., of 2001.
The cited patent documents show the great relevance of the
matter of bulk cotton handling, both during and post- harvest
and the constant need for new developments and improvements
in equipment.

Bir yandan çeşitli aletler kullanılarak hasat haznelerine ya da sepetlerine pamuğu sıkıştırarak daha çok miktarda pamuk toplanmasını sağlamaya yarayan gelişmeler kaydedildi.
Öteki yandan sabit balyalar yada pamuk modülleri yardımıyla daha başarılı hasat sonrası toplamasını sağlayan gelişmeler yapıldı.
