Queremos seguir creyendo y avanzando.
Translation - English Do you want to know who the volunteers really are?
We are people of different nationalities, religions and political views. We took it upon ourselves to do the job of the authorities, which is to pick animals up from the streets and save their lives - animals that irresponsible, heartless people mistreat or abandon. We take care of them, provide them with veterinary care, everything - until we secure a final adoption for them, a home.
When we give away a pet, it is given with a contract of adoption, along with vaccinations, worming, sterilisation, micro chips and any blood work necessary to check its overall state of health.
A lot of people ask where we get the money for all of this.
Some people will think we're millionaires who don’t need to work but that’s not true!! We are normal people who leave their families to be able to help out with this work. Some of us are students, some of us work and some of us don’t. We do not earn any money from this. We donate our time, our cars, our petrol, our phones and we involve ourselves in all kinds of fundraising activities to ensure our charity’s bills are paid, for example: raffles, lotteries, and flea markets. Sometimes we get sponsors for the dogs at the refuge, and yes, we do ask for a small contribution from the adoptive parents, which, the vast majority of the time, doesn't even cover half of the costs that the animal incurs – such as, food, operations, medical treatment, collars, grooming and much else besides.
Most of this, we finance from own funds, without the help of the government. We are doing the work for free and for the sake of our community.
We help prevent traffic accidents, which can lead to animals attacking passers-by. We're altruistic in providing a service to the community (because we want to, not because we have to).
WE DO NOT GAIN ANYTHING FROM THE CHARITY
We often put in money from our own pockets and, on many occasions, we ask for personal loans to build a new shelter, while people talk but are unable to donate even 1 EURO to our group.
We want to keep believing and moving forward. Fight for this great project and finally put an end to neglect and animal abuse.

Translation - English Peterson was not happy with the existing status quo and so it dawned on him that this was the only way to break the mould and create something exceptional, something new. At a time when the idea of the privately owned bath was in its first flush of youth and the daily shower was but a pipe dream, he was already developing the first shower heads and so the seeds of the new standards in the bathroom were sown - way beyond the borders of the Black Forest.

Bio
My mother tongue is English and I have a degree in Spanish and German from UWE, which includes translation studies. I have experience working in countries where the source language is spoken and have translated in both the realm of business and the NGO voluntary sector - in the case of the latter, there was a strong focus on social media.
Computer assisted language learning is a particular area of interest, as are animal rescue charities in Spain. I also have some experience of editing and proofreading.
Therefore, I am able to translate any business or marketing document, email, newsletter, and social media or website excerpt - in .doc or .docx format, please.
I can also translate shorter texts into German or Spanish, if the material to be translated is fairly general; e.g. a quick email that needs to be fired off.
Please contact me in advance to notify me of the deadline, the number of words in the document, the nature of the text and to specify the language pair; i.e. German-English or Spanish-English.
