Bio

I have almost ten years experience as an English-to-Japanese translator, mainly in IT. I have rich experience translating (or localizing) UI for software and apps, marketing materials, IT educational resources, including subtitles, and articles from Web magazines. Recently, I started working as a Japanese-to-English translator of cafe menus and Instagram posts.

Before becoming a translator, I was a teaching and research assistant in the Psychology Department at Kyoto University and an associate researcher at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences of CNRS, France.
