Source text - English Introduction to the Adapted and Supplemented Version
The knowledge of the secrets of the life beyond death has always fascinated human beings of all times. Unfortunately, contrary to the physical world whose secrets are revealed every day thanks to the science, the spiritual world remained for a long time a hermetic and enigmatic secret for humanity, in spite of efforts of people like Emanuel Swedenborg and Anthony Borgia.
The ignorance of the spiritual world has often been encouraged by some religious leaders who took on themselves the responsibility to discourage all research in this sense or to condemn all spiritual experiences as diabolic. But, we must know that the belief in the spiritual world and the preparation to the spiritual life constitute the foundation and the goal of religion. There are only materialists and atheists who think otherwise!
Fortunately, the charismatic movements, the appearances of the Holy Virgin Mary and similar phenomena as well as the work of exorcists have allowed us to be conscious of the spiritual reality, even though up to now it is not well known; especially, because we ignored completely the laws governing such a world and the activities of the spirits.
In the 1980's I viewed a documentary entitled Life After Life, “La Vie Après la Vie” (Documentary of the Tele-Video Production presented by Pastor Jean Lebel, Switzerland, TVP, 1984, CH-2016 CORTAILLOD) that moved me in a special way and illuminated me more on this problem. In this documentary, one of the witnesses said that Jesus told him: “There are more people entering in my Father's Kingdom these days than ever before in history!"
Today, thanks to the more recent experiences of the Dr. Sang Hun Lee (Dr. Sang Hun Lee died on 22 March 1997 and since then has made many revelations about the spiritual world through a medium), we can comprehend this world better and can know to some details its present state. This book presents a summary of all these revelations and allows a better understanding of our future life. Moreover, it allows us to prepare ourselves better to face this ultimate journey that all, without exception, we must undertake one day. As the saying goes, “He who wishes to live long avoids excess.”
Indeed, a good understanding of the spiritual world would allow us to put an end to all the sins we commit each day here on earth. A person, convinced that s/he will have to be accountable after his/her death, will take time to review his/her relationship with God and his/her neighbors. It is true that as the French philosopher, Pascal, we must not do good based on calculations or out of fear of retribution. But at least, it allows us to reduce evil. Of course, the ideal is to do good for goodness sake and out of genuine love for God and others.
I personally had many experiences with the spiritual world since childhood that convinced me of its existence. I have also lost many close relatives to death and among them my mother and elder brother who died of cancer one after the other one-year apart. I regret that only my brother could be prepared for the next world. Since then, I have had spiritual encounters with them – my mother and brother, in particular – that led me to believe that they are alive in the life beyond and more importantly, they are working with me to complete what they couldn't on this earth.
While working on this booklet, I took the liberty to adapt it to the African context, and I made some additions both in the number of questions as well as in the content of the answers. The original text contains 30 questions and answers. This one comprises 56. Sometimes, some answers are just translated excerpts from Le Monde Spirituel et Nous, “The Spiritual World and Us,” (A pamphlet published by Editions Guérir Le Monde, Paris, 1995) or excerpts from The Reality of the Spirit World and Life on Earth (Sang Hun Lee, The Reality of the Spirit World and Life on Earth, FFWPU, 1998) and Lucifer, a Criminal Against Humanity (Sang Hun Lee, Lucifer, A Criminal Against Humanity, FFWPU, 1999) of Dr Sang Hun Lee. I kept the initial title and author, nevertheless, since the initial document constitutes the backbone of this booklet.
Also, unfortunately, this will not be just a normal translation of the French version of this booklet. For the sake of clarity, I have added or remove some things in the answers and the order of the last 7 questions and answers have been shuffled. Two new questions have been added, the first and second.
Finally, I pray that the Holy Spirit may guide the reader to a better understanding of the reality of the spiritual world and of the necessity to prepare very well for this eternal journey that we call death. I am, however, unsatisfied because even after having added new questions and answers, I could not cover all the points. It may also happen that some answers will hurt the beliefs of the reader and his/her personal convictions. Please, before condemning or judging, take some time to read the whole book, because I am sure that it is only an appearance. However, I take full responsibility for all erroneous interpretations that could come up while pleading God that the Holy Spirit can guide all those reading this book. If it can help you to be more devoted to Heaven and to better prepare your eternal life, then I will be very happy.
Translation - French INTRODUCTION A L’EDITION FRANÇAISE
La connaissance des secrets de l’au-delà a toujours passionné l’humanité de toutes les époques. Malheureusement, contrairement au monde physique dont les secrets se révèlent chaque jour grâce à la science, le monde spirituel est resté pour longtemps un secret hermétique et énigmatique pour l’humanité, malgré les efforts des personnes telles qu’Emanuel Swedenborg et Anthony Borgia.
L’ignorance du monde spirituel a souvent été encouragée par certains responsables religieux qui ont pris sur eux la responsabilité de décourager toute recherche dans ce sens ou de condamner toute expérience spirituelle comme diabolique. Mais, nous devons savoir que la croyance au monde spirituel et la préparation à la vie spirituelle constituent le fondement et le but de la religion. Il n’y a que les matérialistes et les athées qui pensent autrement !
Heureusement, les mouvements charismatiques, les apparitions de la Sainte Vierge Marie et des phénomènes semblables ainsi que le travail des exorcistes nous ont permis d’être conscients de la réalité spirituelle, même si jusqu’ici elle n’est pas assez pénétrable. Surtout du fait que nous ignorons totalement les lois régissant un tel monde et les activités des esprits.
Dans les années 80 j’ai visionné un documentaire intitulé La Vie Après la Vie qui m’a particulièrement marqué et éclairé davantage sur ce problème. Dans ce documentaire, l’un des témoins disait que Jésus lui a dit : « Il y a plus de personnes qui entrent aujourd’hui dans le Royaume de mon Père que jamais auparavant dans l’histoire ! »
Aujourd’hui, grâce aux expériences plus récentes du Dr Lee Sang Hun2, nous pouvons mieux appréhender ce monde et savoir à quelques détails près son état actuel. Ce texte présente une économie de toutes ces révélations et permet une meilleure compréhension de notre vie future. Bien plus, il nous permet de mieux nous préparer pour affronter cet ultime voyage que tous, sans exception, nous devons entreprendre un jour. Ne dit-on pas : « Qui veut aller loin ménage sa monture » ?
En effet, une bonne compréhension du monde spirituel nous permettrait de mettre un terme à tout le mal que nous faisons ici-bas. Une personne, convaincue qu’elle aura des comptes à rendre après sa mort, prendra de la peine pour peaufiner ses relations à la fois avec Dieu et ses semblables. Il est vrai que comme Pascal nous ne devons pas faire du bien par calcule ou par peur d’une rétribution. Mais au moins, ceci permet de limiter le mal. Bien sûr, l’idéal est de faire le bien par amour pour le bien, Dieu et les autres.
J’ai personnellement depuis l’enfance eu beaucoup d'expériences avec le monde spirituel qui m'ont convaincu de son existence. J’ai aussi perdu beaucoup de proches et parmi eux ma mère et mon frère aîné qui sont morts à la suite du cancer l'un après l'autre à un an d'intervalle. Je regrette que seul mon frère a pu se préparer pour l'autre monde. Depuis lors, j’ai eu des rencontres spirituelles avec eux - ma mère et mon frère, en particulier - qui m'ont amené à croire qu'ils sont vivants dans l’au-delà et, plus important encore, ils travaillent avec moi pour compléter ce qu'ils n'avaient pas pu de leur vivant sur terre.
En traduisant ce texte, j’ai pris du temps pour l’adapter au contexte africain, et j’ai fait des ajouts tant en ce qui concerne le nombre de questions (30 au départ) que du contenu des réponses afin de le compléter. Parfois, des réponses sont carrément des extraits du Monde Spirituel et Nous ou de ma traduction de Life in the Spirit World and on Earth et Lucifer, A Criminal Against Humanity du Dr Lee Sang Hun. J’ai néanmoins maintenu le titre initial puisque le document initial constitue l’ossature de cet opuscule.
Enfin, je prie que le Saint-Esprit puisse guider le lecteur ou la lectrice à une meilleure compréhension de la réalité du monde spirituel et de la nécessité de bien se préparer pour ce voyage éternel qu’est la mort. Je suis cependant désolé parce que même en essayant de compléter, je n’ai pas pu couvrir tous les points. Il se pourrait aussi que certaines réponses puissent heurter les croyances du lecteur et ses convictions personnelles. S’il vous plaît, avant de condamner ou de juger, prenez la peine de tout lire car je suis sûr que ce n’est qu’une apparence. Toutefois, je prends l’entière responsabilité même pour toute interprétation erronée qui pourrait en découler tout en priant Dieu que l’Esprit Saint puisse guider toute personne qui lirait ce livre. Si ceci peut vous aider à être plus dévoué à la cause céleste et à mieux préparer votre vie éternelle, alors je serai très heureux.
