I am a passionate linguist, fascinated by discovering new cultures and convinced that language and culture are deeply interrelated. I spent the recent years pursuing my passion, specializing with a MA degree in Translation after a BA in Foreign languages and intercultural mediation. This strong interest also pushed me to travel and live abroad. I went to Germany twice, the first time immediately after my BA, when I participated in a cultural exchange living with a German family as an aupair; the second time I went to Germany as an Erasmus student during the second year of my MA. After completing my MA, I decided to move to the UK, where I lived and worked as Business administrator.
My passion helped me follow my professional path. I am a professional translator and language assistant with more than three years’ experience in these sectors. Thanks to my business background I approach every assignment with the same professional attitude, paying particular attention to quality, style and deadlines.
Anything else? I am a very curious and creative person! Curiosity may have even killed the cat, but it is what keeps me alive. In fact I am a keen reader and I always keep myself informed and up-to-date. I love cinema, music, yoga and last but not least knitting! That is my ideal break in the cold winter days.
