About me
My name is Katarzyna Kawalec. I have been working as translator specilizing in legal and business texts since 2009. Currently I am based in Wrocław (Lower Silesia), working as an in-house translator at the Internal Audit Department in one of the Polish banks.

On September 20, 2016 I was accredited as a sworn translator by the Polish Ministry of Justice.
I am a holder of an MA degree in English Studies (specialisation: linguistics) from the Jagiellonian University, Cracow (2008). Since 2010 I have successfully completed one-year post-graduate course in translation of specialised texts at the UNESCO Chair for Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication (the Jagiellonian University) and a numer of courses in legal/court translation and interpreting.

Apart from my current job, my professional translation-related positions include: in-house translator at a law firm specialising in employment and labour law, based in Cracow (2009-2010) and the Management Board Assistant and Translator at a joint-stock company based in Lubliniec (Upper Silesia) (2013-2015).

Taking into consideration my experience and established career path, my translation work covers:
