Sidney Evans is a Peruvian translator and interpreter. He earned his BA in Economics from the Catholic University in Lima, Peru and a Master’s equivalent from the University of La Sorbonne in Paris. He also earned a Diploma in English Studies from the University of Cambridge and is a certified financial and science translator with the Institute of Linguists of London. He has over 20 years experience as a translator, conference interpreter, editor and writer for numerous private, government and multilateral organizations in Peru and abroad. In that capacity he has traveled widely in Peru and internationally. In 1988 he and three partners founded the Lima School for Translation and Interpretation, a training organization accredited with the Peruvian Department of Education. More recently he opened Evans Communications, a translation and interpretation services agency in Lima, Peru.
