Nigeria is definitely a big market for anything at all that is sellable.
In the recent past, our youth has bought into the indigenization of our heritage by identifying with the about 600years old pidgin English. Nigerian Pidgin is selling in comedy, movies (Nollywood) and even the United Nations have made publications in Nigerian pidgin language.
