An experienced Translator and Interpreter with clients such as Home Box Office (HBO) and the European Union, I pride myself on the high quality services I provide in a professional and effective approach. While studying at university, I worked as a part time English lecturer for cram schools and also as a private English Tutor for students at different levels. I had been teaching English for students at various levels for over 6 years before immigrating to the UK and pursuing a career in Interpreting and Translating. I was also in charge of recruiting foreign teachers for the education institutes which I worked for. Apart from English, I also learnt Spanish for 3 years and Japanese for 2 years at university.
After getting a Postgraduate Certificate of Translating and Interpreting at Newcastle University, I completed my MA degree in English Language and Linguistics at Newcastle University, where I developed not only academically but also culturally. In addition, I am also an external language specialist assessor for Chinese-English interpreters for the government. I have been appointed to many high profile governmental conferences and council meetings as well as academic symposiums at universities. I also have a large caseload of clients who regularly require an excellent standard of translation, which includes documents such as court orders, business contracts and television subtitles from different geographical areas.
