Bio
I am a native-born, English-speaking American, and I love languages.

I can speak and write Spanish, and I have performed a number of informal Spanish-to-English written translations over the years for friends and associates.

I very much enjoy this, and I have decided to register here on ProZ in order to obtain some Spanish-to-English translation work that I can do on evenings and weekends.

By profession, I'm a software engineer, and my "day job" involves writing software for the financial industry in New York. I am especially capable of translating computer-related text.

However, my skills are not limited to this. I also have done translation of literature, advertising copy, and personal communications.

Furthermore, I enjoy proofreading, which I have done on and off over the years. I'm available for English proofreading work, in addition to translation.
