After working for more than 20 years in high‑tech industries across two continents, I joined my spouse’s translation business full‑time in 2005 (ProZ). My earlier career in medical diagnostics and telecommunications—covering roles in product specialization, product management, sales, marketing, marketing communications, corporate communications, event coordination, and sales operations—gives me a strong foundation for understanding end‑customer needs when localizing technical documentation.

My long experience with U.S. corporate culture also benefits clients who require accurate and culturally appropriate translations of employee communications, corporate materials, and business documentation into Finnish.

After my spouse’s passing in 2023, I have continued to run our translation and localization company independently. I work with industry‑standard translation tools such as SDL Trados Studio and MemoQ, as well as various AI‑based online translation and editing platforms, depending on client preferences.
