I am an English-French (Canada & France) freelance linguist working as a full-time translator/post-editor/proofreader continuously at high volume and fast turnaround time since 2016.

A US-based native French (Canada) speaker, I have extensive experience translating documents in numerous areas, in particular marketing, manufacturing, business, finance, HR, technical, medical, legal, government and organizations, and academic research papers. I have experience in transcription and translation of video subtitles as well.

I have used the following platforms extensively: Trados (owned license), memoQ (owned license), WordFast, Smartling, XTM, Wordbee. I also use XBench, Antidote and the Office 365 Suite proficiently.

I have degrees in English Literature & Religion Studies (B.A., Concordia, Montreal) and Philosophy (M.A., McGill, Montreal). I was often first in my class in French growing up, but my real passion was mastering English!

I have studied both in French and English universities and possess vast cultural knowledge in the areas of intellectual and art history, music, and film.

My secret weapon is that I love translating and never tire of it!
