I am a full-time translator. I love languages and have a passion for translation. I take pride in my work and to me, perfection matters most. I always strive that the translations I do, both look beautiful as well as faithful to the original. But I am strongly of the view that if someone reads a translated piece they shouldn’t be able to tell if it is a translation. I practice functional method in translation. That is to say, I ask myself, ‘what is the (grammatical) function of using a particular structure in the source language?’ And then I look for the same function in the target language. And that is where my education and my teaching experience come in handy. I have full command of the grammar of all the three languages I do. In short, I can guarantee high quality and in time delivery.
