Remarkable Translations is a freelance project run by me, Cristofer Remar. My interest in languages and other cultures has always been a big part of my life. Before I started my academic career I studied Hindi abroad, in India, but unfortunately as time has gone by I have lost much of my fluency in that language. However, through my academic pursuits in Theology, Ethics, Philosophy and most recently Economics, I have been greatly exposed to the English language through both listening, reading and writing. I have also studied Ancient Greek and even written a Bachelor's thesis based on the study of ancient Greek philosophy in the original languages. And every now and then I volunteer as a simultaneous interpreter at my local church. I am currently studying for a Master's degree in Economics at Orebro University here in Sweden. Suffice it to say, I have a great passion for languages in general, and my skills are most developed when it comes to my mother tongue Swedish as well as English. Therefore I am currently only looking for work relating to that language pair. My experience so far consists of various types of translations, spanning over many different fields. I am translating legal, financial and other work on a regular basis, and occasionally I take on websites, applications, manuals and subtitles for TV shows. Simply put, I am open for any type of work or subject matter.

So, the name of the company is "Remarkable Translations" and our Mission Statement is as follows:
