The African Virtual University (UVA) www.UVA.org is a Pan-African
Intergovernmental Organization established by charter with the mandate of significantly increasing access to quality higher education and training through the innovative use of Information Communication Technologies (ICT). A Charter, establishing the UVA as an Intergovernmental Organization, has been signed so far by fourteen (14) African Governments Kenya, Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Cote d’Ivoire, Tanzania Mozambique, and Democratic Republic
of Congo. The UVA has its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya and a Regional office in Dakar Senegal with Host-Country Agreements and

A Universidade Virtual Africana (UVA) www.UVA.org é uma Organização Intergovernamental Pan-Africana estabelecida por carta, com o mandato de aumentar, significativamente, o acesso ao ensino e formação superiores, através do uso inovador das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC). Até então, catorze (14) Governos Africanos – Quénia, Senegal, Mauritânia, Mali, Costa do Marfim, Tanzânia e a Republica Democrática do Congo – assinaram uma carta,em prol de estabelecer a UVA como uma Organização Intergovernamental. A UVA é sediada em Nairobi, Quénia e tem um escritório Regional em Dakar, Senegal, sob Acordos com o País Anfitrião e Estatuto Diplomático com os dois governos. |
