I am a native Spanish translator with 12 years of experience helping my clients with the translation of complex technical content and terminology by using professional translation tools along with subject expertise.

In 2005, I obtained my degree as a certified sworn translator from the University of the Republic in Montevideo. Since then I have translated over 2000 technical documents and have been involved in numerous different translation and localization projects. Due to my intensive linguistic education combined with a deep understanding of the relevant terminology, I can ensure precise and accurate translations.

As an experienced translator, I have excellent command on several different CAT, QA and DTP tools. I use the latest software technology to always meet my clients’ requirements - providing high quality and consistent translations with quick turnaround times.

In 2010, I combined my passion for translating with my years of professional experience and I became a Translator Trainer in the subject "Translation Practice". I am also a proud member of several associations such as the American Translators Association (ATA) and the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI).

I was born in South America (Uruguay), but I lived and worked for many years in Spain. Therefore I am qualified to offer both varieties of the target language, Latin American Spanish as well as European Spanish.
