I am an efficient and dedicated translator based in Madrid working exclusively in the Spanish to English language pair. I’m fluent in written and spoken Spanish and I'm a native speaker of English. I hold a BA in Spanish from Royal Holloway, University of London and an MA in Translation from the University of Bristol.

I have a vast amount of experience with SDL Trados Studio 2021. It's my CAT tool of choice, but I would be more than happy to use another tool if required. I have carried out many projects for clients in the legal and corporate fields as well as in the field of marketing.

My main specialisation is the legal field, with an emphasis on the translation of contracts and agreements. I have devoted many hours to studying both the English and Spanish legal systems as well as how contracts are drafted in Spain and the UK. I have put this knowledge to good use by translating a variety of legal texts.

I am passionate about maintaining termbases and glossaries in order to ensure uniformity and accuracy in my translations. I have also built up a collection of dictionaries, reference materials and parallel texts to help me in my meticulous translation and proofreading processes. I use two different QA tools and grammar checking software to guarantee that my translations are precise and fluid. I can comfortably translate 3000 words daily.
