Bio

I was brought up in Japan with a British mother and a Japanese father.
My education was mainly in Japan but I was very lucky to have been able to go to a junior and senior high school where they offered special English programs. Therefore, I am completely bilingual in both languages.

My first job in translation started when I was in university. It was a translation job for a Manga (Japanese comic book). As I enjoyed this work very much, since then I have been taking on freelance translation jobs for TV programs, contracts and homepages. This is not my main work, but I really enjoy translation.

I love travelling, singing on stage, camping and cycling. My main work is teaching so I love to discover new things that I can share with my students.
