Bio

Although born and raised in Sweden, I've called four countries home over the past 15 years. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon in the US with degrees in Journalism and Japanese, then moved to Japan to try my luck as an English teacher and actor. Two years later I moved to South Korea to pursue a career in film and screenwriting. During that time I also made short films that screened at various international film festivals.

I've been back in Sweden since March 2013, translating and reviewing extensively (mostly from English to Swedish, but also vice versa) for clients such as Google and Spotify, as well as writing articles for publications such as The Japan Times and Metropolis Magazine. I've also had three Asia-themed short stories published in Eastlit Journal. As you might have figured having read this far, I specialize in creative translations (as well as tourism and games).

Looking forward to working together!
