Source text - English Thomas Kuhn reminds us that Roentgen discovered X-rays accidentally. He was in the midst of a routine investigation with cathode ray when he noticed that screen, located at some distance from the armored equipment, glowed when the discharge was in process. Confused by the anomaly, Roentgen suspended the experiment and locked himself up in his laboratory for more then 7 weeks, to verify measurements, but when he finally got a confirmation, he was keeping silent for some time to convince himself of the validity of the discovery before announce it. Such was his level of skepticism, that he called them the "X" rays, thereby to express that it was a discovery of unknown nature.
Translation - Spanish Nos recuerda Thomas Kuhn, que Roentgen descubrió por accidente los Rayos X. Se encontraba en medio de una investigación rutinaria con rayos catódicos cuando noto que la pantalla, situada a alguna distancia de los aparatos blindados, brillaba cuando la descarga se encontraba en proceso. Confundido por la anomalía, Roentgen suspendió el experimento y se encerró en su laboratorio por algo más de 7 semanas para verificar las mediciones, pero cuando al fin obtuvo confirmación, guardo silencio por algún tiempo para convencerse a sí mismo de la validez del descubrimiento antes de anunciarlo. Tal era su nivel de escepticismo, que los llamo Rayos “X” expresando con esto que se trataba de un hallazgo de naturaleza desconocida.
