I thought it would be good to give you a bit of qualitative info.
I have worked in advertising for all of my professional life. I started off in account management but, after being transferred to Madrid in 1978, I moved to media planning and buying in 1980. I worked my way up through the department in different agencies until, in 1996, I transferred to Sâo Paulo, Brazil, as Latam regional media director for Ogilvy.
Parallel to this activity in 1990 I was asked by EADA in Barcelona to do the media training in their advertising and marketing course. I have since expanded to include more general training in house and external: teamwork, time management etcetera and I think I found the real me in training.
It involves communication, acting, public speaking, presentation, entertainment and, of course in training the one that learns the most is the trainer and, as a true Gemini, I love to learn. I can provide you with a full programme of all my training modules if so desired.
So really I am looking for some kind of training post or maybe a more academic function in a university or business school. Given my age I do not think it very realistic to hope for an executive job but you never know.
I am an eternal optimist and, though I can be serious if needs must, I love a good laugh and believe that the learning process should be fun not a dirge. It’s more interesting for the trainees and also for me.
I love history and I write a lot, some of it is even presentable. |
