Bio

I'm a published, professional Chinese/English translator, proofreader, editor, and writer. I hold a Ph.D. in Chinese Studies from the University of Auckland, a MA in Comparative Literature, and a BA in Chinese Language and Literature.

A Pro translator between EN&CH, I've been involved in various types of projects since 2011. Among my work are translations of Downcast Eyes, On Lyotard, On Paul de Man, Derrida's Of Grammatolog, Beyond the Label, and The Généalogie of Madness. Many translations will come out soon( including Derrida's Voice and Phenomenon, The Journal of Thomas Merton, Oswald Chambers, The Hölderlin Reader, Derrida-Key Concepts, St. Clare's, and 2 books by Francis Schaeffer).

A creative writer, I’ve published numerous articles (creative works, academic essays, reviews, etc.) in prominent Chinese/English journals, newspapers, and magazines.
