I am an immigrant who came to the United States when I was a year and a half fleeing the Vietnam War with my mother. I then grew up in the United States all my life living in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. While I was in elementary school, I have an interests in learning my native language, which includes both speaking and writing as well. I then learned to write in Hmong through my aunt. Since then, I have been a fluent Hmong language writer.

In my teenage years, I have been translating materials from English to Hmong and vice versa for practices. And in 2012, I have started my translation business named Strategic Business Solutions, Inc. and I have been a Hmong translator translating English materials to Hmong language vice versa since then. I have been in the translation industry altogether for five years now and is still currently pursuing this industry.
