I was born and grew up in the USA, earning a BSE with honors at Princeton University.
I also learned Hebrew at Princeton, where the teacher and the drill instructors were Israeli.
After that, I moved to Israel, earned an MSEE from Technion in Haifa, and have stayed in Israel ever since.
I married an Israeli woman, served in the army, and have fully integrated into Israeli life.
English is my native language, but I am also fluent in Hebrew.
I worked many years as an electronics engineer, where we used both languages all the time.
I made a career change at the beginning of 2016, and now work as a translator between English and Hebrew in both directions, and edit and proofread in both languages.
I also do technical writing.
Currently, I work for the Szold Institute in Jerusalem, as part of the team that translates Education Ministry graduation exams from Hebrew to English, mostly in math, science, and computers, but also in the humanities.
I pride myself on quick, quality work.
