Radošums - spēja radīt kaut ko jaunu un oriģinālu, liekot lietā savu iztēli. Tas var būt arī kāda jauna pielietojuma atrašana jau labi zināamām lietām.
Lai rastos jaunas idejas, nepieciešama brīva, nepiespiesta atmosfēra. Nedrīkst būt jau iepriekš noteikts dalījums "tas ir labi, tas ir slikti" vai "tas ir pareizi, tas nepareizi". Labāk, ja bērni paši var izklāstīt savas idejas un pārspriest, kāpēc viņiem tās patīk vai nepatīk. Radošums nosmok tur, kur bērniem jāpiemēro savas idejas tam, kas "patīk vai nepatīk skolotājam".

Creativity is an ability to create something new and original while using one’s imagination. It can also mean to find a new use for already well-known things. A free, natural atmosphere is needed for creating new ideas. There must not be a previously defined division stating “this is good, this is bad” or “it’s correct, it’s wrong”. It is better when children can express their own ideas and discuss why they like or don’t like them. Creativity suffocates when children have to match their ideas with what “a teacher likes or dislikes”. |
