Last night I had a very strange dream. I dreamed that a voice said to me,
“Excuse me for interrupting your previous dream, but I have an urgent
problem and only you can help me with it.” I dreamed that I replied, “No
apologies are necessary, it wasn’t that good a dream, and if I can help you
in any way—” “Only YOU can help,” the voice said. “Otherwise I and all
my people are doomed.”
“Christ!,” I said.

روادني ليلة الأمس حلم غريب. حلمت أن أحدهم خاطبني قائلا "عذرا علي مقاطعتك أثناء حلمك ، لكن لدي مسألة عاجلة و أنت وحدك تستطيع أن تساعدني" . فرددت عليه أثناء الحلم قائلا "لاحاجة لتعتذر فهو لم يكن بالحلم الجميل ، علي أي حال إذا إستطعت مساعدتك باي طريقة ف ...." قاطعني الصوت قائلا "أنت وحدك تستطيع مساعدتي و إلا سوف أهلك أنا و شعبي"
فما كان من قوله إلا أنه أفزعني .

The race for the post of UNESCO director-general is heating up. Voting will take place from 9-12 October in the presence of the 58 state members of UNESCO’s executive bureau. The winner, to be announced on 15 November, will succeed Irina Bokova whose term will end on 14 November after eight years behind the wheel. | Translation - Arabic
تتصاعد حرارة سباق الفوز بمنصب المدير العام بمنظمة اليونسكو، حيث سيكون التاسع من أكتوبر هو وقت بدء عملية التصويت، وإنتهاءه في الثاني عشر من نفس الشهر، في حضور الدول الثمانية والخمسين الأعضاء في المكتب التنفيذي باليونيسكو. سيتم الإعلان عن الفائز بنتيجة الإنتخابات في الخامس عشر من شهر نوفمبر، وتنتهي بذلك فترة إيرينا بوكوفا، التي دامت ثمانية سنوات، في الرابع عشر من نوفمبر. |
