In this world of globalization, the global evolution has changed drastically, especially that modern technologies have been continuously developed to serve the consumers’ needs. Any business that does not catch up with such changes to meet its consumers’ needs will be disadvantaged, and so this is another risk factor that every business should realize. Hence, the Company has been well-prepared, such as sufficient inventory policy, and the product information system linked with suppliers to have advance notice of any product changes. Besides, the Company supports its staff’s to learn about all new product development to serve the customer’s demand promptly.
Risk from Changes of Raw Material Price and Product Price
Changes in the prices of raw materials and products, affect the operation of the business. The Company has conducted some monitoring and control methods to closely follow up and to minimize the selling costs to be more competitive and affordable for the customers.
Risk Factors in Management
Risk from Credit Extension
Risk from Credit Extension comes from the customers’ inability to discharge with their obligations. To prevent such risks initially, the Company has implemented credit extension measures. Before approving the credit extension, the financial standing of its potential customer will be scrutinized with relevant government authorities or financial institutions. In the case of a customer’s credibility being considered dubious, the Company will demand additional collaterals/security such as letter(s) of guarantee or other securities as well as personal guarantors.
On default of payment, the Debts Follow-Up Committee will negotiate with the particular customer for a compromise. It may agree to let the customer repay its debts on an installed basis, with interests, or may decide to forward the case to the Legal Department to initiate legal action in accordance with the law. Consideration will be made on a case-by-case basis as to what course of action will be taken on any particular case. From past instances, the Company’s problems of loss from debts are considered to be low.
Risk from the Instability of Economy and Politics
Many national circumstances have unavoidably affected Thailand’s economy. National economic growth rate and national consumption rate have declined. Political problems and domestic chaos delayed the government projects and also affected the private sector. The uncertainty of such problem solving caused the declined national creditability and investment from other countries. Such risk factors are uncontrollable by the Company. Therefore, such problem-solving and damage control schemes should be implemented rapidly in a righteous and ethic manner by mainly considering the benefits of stakeholders, investors, people, and the nation. The Company has followed up the situations closely and reconsidered its contracts and protocols to meet with the conditions set by the government, and requested sympathy on the project obstacles from the project approval authorities. The Company hopes that all the projects, which the government invited the private sector to undertake, facing obstacles of delaying the operation would reach rational solutions in the near future.

Source text - English Seven years as a manager. During that time, I made many acquaintances, gathered money, and became a planner. Planning for a singer was creating something from nothing, and it was fun. In the beginning, I achieved big success, so I smoothly changed from a manager to a planner. However, the problem came after that.
After I became a planner in a big management company, I was put in charge of a big group. It was a 5-man group of singers, and they achieved success with their 4th album. When it was time for the 5th, I was put in charge of them. However, the result was a huge failure. Not only that, the members fought with the company, and a scandal between one of its members and one of their fans happened. All of this came together, and the result was that it ended up with the group disbanding. I was unlucky, but the important thing was that the 5th album had failed.
The problem became even bigger after that. From new singers to middle-tier singers, the misfortune didn’t end. I failed every single album I put my hands on. The middle-tier singers, who had never failed before, even became rash and ruined their name. This continued for three years.
That was how I got the nickname ‘minus’s hand.’ In the end, it was no different from being buried in this industry. Even so, with all of my effort, I gathered all of the money possible, from loans to debts, and planned a singer, but the result was that there was, even more, debt, the singer left, and I’m now unemployed…
