Nach meinem Abschluss als Biophysikerin (Molekularbiologie und Elektrophysiologie) an der Uni Genua arbeitete ich in der staatlichen Forschung an internationalen Wissenschaftsprojekten mit. Anschließend verbrachte ich drei Jahre in Hamburg, wo ich zunächst weiter studierte und dann meine Karriere als Übersetzerin und Dolmetscherin begann. Seit meiner Rückkehr nach Italien im Jahr 1997 arbeite ich freiberuflich als Übersetzerin.
