Bio
After graduating in France with a university degree in translation and a master's degree in English, I was an in-house translator at Atlas Translations Ltd in Cambridge, UK, and then at Excel Translations, Inc. in San Francisco. I moved back to France and started working as a freelance translator in 2000. I have worked on a wide variety of projects since then. Even if I am not an expert in every subject, I know where to find reliable resources so that I can quickly learn what I need to produce an accurate translation. And if something is not clear, I ask questions. I am very good at following instructions closely, but not blindly.

Over the years I have mostly translated technical or marketing material for medical equipment and the healthcare sector, and I recently branched out into music, focusing on jazz. I collaborated with the American jazz pianist Hal Galper to translate his book, Forward Motion, from Jazz to Bebop, a Corrective Approach to Jazz Phrasing. The French pianist and educator Étienne Guéreau praised my translation in his YouTube video (in French).
