I lived and worked in Japan for over 5 years. In addition to understanding of the mentality and business structure of Japan, I am fondly familiar with the "Kansai" dialect!

★ Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. Broad knowledge of various high-level biology, chemistry, and health related subjects. Experience writing research papers (ACS format) and creating research posters. (Presented at ACS Convention in 2013.) As a result, I have the keen eye and concise tongue of a scientific editor.

★ 4 Years living and working in Japan. Understanding of Japanese business culture and communication.

★ Full-Time employment as the main healthcare translator for Kyoto University (one of the top Universities in Japan). Experience with quality control of translations across related documents.

★ International English translation: for documents intended to be used by non-native English speakers. (e.g. expats or exchange students.) Feel free to consult with me on matters of intercultural communications and better improving how your organization interacts with the English-speaking world.

★Subtitles/Transcreation: Translation of Japanese videos for an English-speaking audience.
