Raised to a bilingual family in Nicaragua, I have always been at the cross-roads of languages and cultures. My curiosity about other peoples' ways of life led me to live, study and work in the United States, Guatemala and Canada and to travel across Central America, Mexico, Cuba and Brazil. Latin America's inexhaustible diversity exerts a special fascination in me; a diversity that is expressed in the multiple accents and dialects of Spanish and Portuguese across the sub-continent. I studied Anthropology and Sociology and slowly drifted to the world of language interpreting and translating since 2008. My fascination with cross-linguistic communication led me to enroll and finish a Master in Conference Interpretation at York University, Canada 2016. My interpretation and translation experience includes a variety of clients, industries and settings that include international development agencies, governments, businesses and non governmental organizations. I am currently based out of Toronto. For further information on my professional trajectory email me at [email protected] or check out my Linkedin profile.
