My professional background is in law and political science (having obtained a Master's and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Vienna, respectively). I have a great passion for the English and the French language, which I discovered early on, finding English and French to be my favourite subjects at school (the "Akademisches Gymnasium Graz", a classical grammar school with a strong focus on languages). Besides law, I studied English for a year at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, and did some legal courses in English. Also, I wrote one of my Master theses (law) and several scientific papers, among them my Bachelor's thesis (political science), in English. In February 2018 I was awarded a grade A on my CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) exam, demonstrating an ability at C2 level. With regard to French, I have spent several weeks in France over the course of 15 years and attended several courses during my legal studies that were held in the French. I speak French at C1 level, which I will demonstrate in Januray, taking the DELF exam at the Institut Francais de Vienne. |
