Natural do Rio de Janeiro, aos 10 anos de idade mudou-se para São Paulo, onde estudou clarineta e formou-se pela Escola de Comunicação e Artes da USP. Integrou a Banda Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, grupo que inspirou sua primeira grande obra Abertura dramática. Premiado no Brasil e no exterior, suas obras já foram executadas na Europa, EUA e Japão.

o Alexandre ingressa, como clarinetista, na Banda Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, grupo para o qual escreveu sua primeira grande obra Abertura dramática, ganhadora do 1o Concurso de Composição da Banda Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, gravada no CD "Suite Tropical".

Alexandre é novamente premiado nos Estados Unidos, agora no Outdoor Composition Contest.
o 2011
Continuando a série de premiações, nesse ano o compositor conquista o Otto-Ditscher-Preis (Alemanha) e também o Prêmio Funarte de Composição Clássica. Este último seria novamente conquistado em 2016.

Alexandre inicia suas atividades como professor de madeiras das orquestras de formação da Fundação Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, orientando jovens músicos no universo sinfônico. Para eles, dedicou sua obra Aurora australis, estreiada em 2016.

The composer was rewarded by Penfield Commision Project, in United States. At the same year, he conquered his third Guerra-Peixe (reward to encouragement and appreciation of local culture) in orchestra composition.
2010
Alexander is rewarded one more time in United States, but now on Outdoor Composition Contest.
2011
Yet with the rewarding chain, in 2011 the composer conquered an Otto-Ditscher-Preis (Germany) and also a reward for classical compositions (Prêmio Funarte de Composição Clássica). This last one was also achieved once more in 2016.
2014
In 2014, Alexandre starts working as a woodwind instrument teacher at Orquestra de formação (an orchestra performed to give artistic and pedagogical support to different kinds of orchestra) at Fundação Theatro Municipal de São Paulo (São Paulo Municipality Theatro Foundation), guiding young musicians through the sinphonic universe. Alexandre dedicated to the students his work Aurora Australis, debuted in 2016.
