Source text - English Ben: What a scene, man! Hoo-wee! And to think they just plop ya out here like a naked baby in the woods. How ‘bout that? Look, kiddo, this is probably a lot for you to take in, so uh…why don’t you let me show you the ropes. Whaddaya say?
Anna: Th-this is moving a little fast… Just who are you again?
Ben: Name’s Ben, but that ain’t important—what’s important is, I’m offering help. You make it back from New York with your hide and we’ll trade life stories, m’kay? ‘Till then, I got about this much time. You in or out?
Anna: Beggars can’t be choosers, I guess... Fine, I could really use the help. I’m in.
Ben: Smart cookie! Look we ain’t got much time, but I figure somebody outta fill you in on the bare bones stuff at least. Could save your bacon. Lookin’ a li’l green around the gills there, kid. Take it you ain’t have a drink o’ the good stuff yet.
Anna: Huh? You mean like booze or drugs or something?
"Ben: Oh man, we’re poppin’ a cherry here!
Ah, you’re gonna love this, check it out... Blood: your new rack o’ lamb, your souped-up champagne – blood’s your friggin’ heroin, kid."
Anna: Okay, okay, enough with the sales pitch, I get it. How do I get some, then?
Ben: Well, down around the corner there, I saw this human. Poor S.O.B. can’t find his car and looks a little lost, if y’catch my drift...
Anna: I think I know where this is going...
Ben: Bingo. You go down there – all casual like – creep up on him, then bare those little fangs and BAM! You feed. It’ll come as naturally as breathing, trust me.
Anna: Sounds about as “simple” as I thought it would... But won’t he, like, turn into a vampire or something?
Ben: Ditch the comic book crap, kid. It don’t work that way. Now go for it. Be sure though – and this is important, so listen up – be sure not to drain ‘em dry, okay? It might be hard to resist but don’t kill ‘em.
Anna: Duly noted. Wouldn’t want to add murder to my rap sheet, after all.
Translation - Italian Ben: Che roba, fra'! Wowww!
Ci stai o no?
Anna: Tipo? Intendi alcol, droghe, …?
"Ben: Ahi, ahi, ahi! Abbiamo una verginella qui!
Allora, vedrai che ti piacerà, senti me: sangue.
Anna: Va bene, ok. La televendita l'hai fatta, ho capito. Come faccio a prenderlo quindi?
A buon intenditor...
Anna: Ho capito dove vuoi arrivare.
Ben: Brava. Vai lì, ti avvicini, disinvolta, poi tiri fuori quei bei canini e zac!, ti fai una bella bevuta. Ti verrà naturale, vedrai, è come respirare.

I'm an Italian translator specialised in English and Spanish. In fact, I've completed my Master's Degree in Translation and Interpreting abroad, where I perfected my expertise in both the languages and translation techniques. In particular, I have specialised in legal translation, although I am willing to translate every kind of text.
