As a child growing up in a multitude of multicultural environments, primarily due to my father's job as a diplomat, I have been exposed to a considerable amount of different cultures and stories. Most importantly, I had the opportunity to develop as an efficient user of the English language. Technically, English is not my native language. Realistically, it is. I have been exposed to and speaking this language since I was 2 years old, my first uttered letters coming from the English alphabet. I have developed a habit of pointing out that my English is better than my Turkish. Because of this obvious advantage, I graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature. This led me to teach English to university students for a total of four years.
