Languages have always been
a passion of mine – I live in Austria, speak three languages on
daily basis, and both my children are raised bilingual. I can
honestly say in the profession of a translator I have found my dream
job and true calling.
I have been working as a
freelance translator for over 14 years now. In this time I have
translated two crime novels and numerous texts on various topics. For
7 years I have worked for a tiled-stoves producer, translating a
plethora of written materials from and into three languages (English,
Polish and German). I have worked for three language service
providers, who assigned me work from all major production studios,
including Disney, Universal, and Netflix. I have translated many
feature films of all genres, TV series as well as marketing spots. I
enjoy being responsible for my own work organization, and as a
freelancing mother of two working from home, I think I can say I have
mastered multitasking.
