Bio

After travelling for leisure all around Europe I graduated in Languages and Foreign literatures from the University of Pescara, Italy in 2001. I lived in Milan and worked as freelance translator for various agencies and taught English as a Foreign Language for various private schools. In 2008 I obtained a PhD in Translation Studies in Bologna in 2008. I have been living in the UK since then. I worked as visiting Lecturer in Translation for the University of Salford and the Metropolitan University of Manchester. I have published various articles on translation and on queer representation. I am also a fully qualified modern foreign Language teacher of Italian, Spanish and French.
