Source text - English CORONAVIRUS SELF-ISOLATION GUIDELINES
For Patients/Visitors
Who should be on self-isolation?
• Anyone that has returned from a location that has issued quarantine restrictions. Please visit the CDC website for several helpful guides.
• Additionally, anyone that has come into close contact with a confirmed case or someone who is being tested for coronavirus.
What does self-quarantine look like?
• You must stay in your home and don’t go to public places such as work, school, childcare, or any public gatherings. Additionally, consider having as many items delivered as possible and avoid close contact with the individuals delivering the items.
• If you have not had a confirmed case of coronavirus, utilizing the social distancing precautions is recommended. That means staying at least six feet away from other people and avoid having visitors. Additionally, avoid sharing items such as towels and utensils.
• Continue to use standard hygiene practices as well and washing hands frequently, especially just before eating. Avoid touching your face and coughing into your elbow may assist. Being diligent about cleaning/disinfecting hard surfaces will also prevent the spread.
• If you have a private residence, it is okay to go outside into your courtyard/garden. If you are in an apartment complex, you should try to minimize the spread by maintaining social distancing and be aware of touching surfaces.
I feel sick, now what?
• You may be advised for self-isolation due to travel and might not feel ill. Following the above advice is important. However, if you develop symptoms (such as cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue and/or shortness of breath) you should contact your physician about getting tested.
• Additionally, further distancing yourself from your family would be recommended.
Translation - Spanish GUÍAS DE AUTO-AISLAMIENTO DE CORONAVIRUS
Me siento enfermo/a, ¿ahora qué?
