English to Spanish: Milwaukee Healthy Beginnings Project
Source text - English What is the Milwaukee Healthy Beginnings Project (MHBP)
The MHBP is a program of the Black Heath Coalition of Wisconsin (BHC). Since 1998, BHC has been aggressively working to reduce the number of infant deaths in the city of Milwaukee by promoting and sustaining the health and well-being of children and families. Through the MHBP the following services are provided:
· Outreach
· Health Education
· Case Management
· Enhanced Clinical Services
· Depression Screening
· Mental Health Screening, referral & treatment
· AODA Screening, referral & treatment
MHBP is funded through the federal Healthy Start Initiative and is the only such Project in Milwaukee and one of two in Wisconsin. Our primary service population includes pregnant women and women with children under the age of two. Linking pregnant women to needed prenatal is a major focus.
MHBP initially targeted its efforts to women in 8 Milwaukee zip codes, but expanded to 12 zip codes in 2001 to service even more women. The Project’s zip codes include; 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53209, 53210, 53212, 53215, 53216, 53218, 53224, and 53233.
Beyond the focused service areas, MHBP is a unique collaboration between the local health department, State Title V, community providers and the consumers of the services.
MHBP also has a Consortium body that includes consumers; medical providers and others concerned individuals who want to lower infant mortality rates. MHBP sub-committees were created to provide the necessary groups for the consortium members to participate and assist project staff with achieving the goals and objectives of the project. There are four sub-committees: Data/Evaluation, Public Information, Consumers Issues, and Steering Committee. Data/Evaluation committee’s purpose is to promote and monitor the collection of project data. Public Information Committee’s purpose is to promote the mission of the Milwaukee Healthy Beginnings Project. Consumer Issue’s purpose is to promote and educate the public on the issues of infant mortality in the project area. Lastly, the Steering Committee’s purpose is to provide direction and leadership for the MHBP Consortium and to facilitate guidance and support to the project and sub-committees.
Translation - Spanish ¿Qué es el Proyecto para un Comienzo Saludable de Milwaukee (PCSM)?

Alpinism at the Torcal de Antequera
Introduction
The Torcal de Antequera, declared in 1929 Site of National Natural Interest, is the first region in Andalusia to be recognized as protected nature area.
Access
If you are coming from Antequera take the regional road 3.310 which leads to Villanueva de Concepción. The road N-331, also known as Las Pedrizas, will also take you to el Torcal 12 km after you drive past La Boca del Asno.
Surroundings
With the exception of the southern strip which unfolds within Villanueva de la Concepción, the nature area of Torcal de Antequera is entirely situated in the municipality which was named after it. It corresponds to the central region of the province of Malaga and is part of the sierras Subbéticas.
Climate
This region features mild temperatures in winter and warm during the summer.
Difficulty
It depends on the level. Although alpinism is a technical sport, it offers the possibility of practicing it at different ages taking into consideration the experience you have in this sport.
Useful data
Material
Climbing boots, knapsack, warm clothes and sticks are a must. Depending on the difficulty rate of the mountain you may need to carry a harness, dynamic ropes and even climbing shoes and hammers.
Season
Any time of the year is suitable for the practice of this thrilling sport but you must pay special attention to the meteorological conditions and be duly informed on temperatures and forecasts. As the saying goes “one good forewit is worth two afterwits”, therefore all precautions are few when it comes to challenging a mountain.
Recommendations
· When practicing alpinism we strongly recommend to take a good insurance, since it might be useful in case of an emergency. The federated climbers have a right to this policy.
· The itinerary of the excursion must be carefully studied and you should always inform some relative or friends of the route you intend to follow.
· It is very important to spare your energies: the expedition does not end when you reach the summit. The difficulty level should be adequate not only for your own capacity but to that of your partners.
· A stick might be of great help in the mountains. We recommend you use it to the maximum as support and as walking instrument.
· The stones-fall can be easily prevented or at least, determine its probability. You must pay utmost attention where you observe cobbles scattered around the ground as well as the signs produced by their impact. Falls are more frequent before and after the summer. If you observe a fall from the distance, pay careful attention to the trajectory and try to avoid it. Your knapsack may very well be used as a shield in case of an emergency.
Description
Featuring an extension of just 20 kilometres, the Torcal de Antequera is one of the most outstanding examples of karstic landscape in Europe. You will be able to observe four different regions:
· Sierra Pelada. Situated on the eastern slope with a maximum height of 1.198 metres.
· Torcal Alto. Here you will be able to find the best karstic area of the massif. It is located in the south-east and the most important rocky summit is Las Vilaneras, which separate it from the Torcal Bajo. Another important feature is the abundance of narrow corridors in the area.
· Torcal Bajo. It is very similar to the latter one, though less spectacular.
· Slopes and cliffs. They are particularly interesting on the southern slope and they give shape to the entire area.
Public
There is no minimum age established for the practice of this sport. What is absolutely critical is to learn how to choose the level of difficulty of the walls.
