Rzeka u Zrodla
Niczym pasterz oblokow, siedze na wzgorzu i patrze.
Choc jestem na krawedzi Ziemi i Nieba
trudno ogarnac to, co widac
Puszyste biale chmury
przyblizaja niebo
u stop opadajace laki
z tylu na grzbiecie pasemko lasu
z granica, ktorej nikt juz nie pilnuje
Teraz malo kto tedy chodzi
albo i nikt.
Myslalem z wiatrem, dogladalem chmur
kierujac je na polnoc nad zalew,
lubia gromadzic sie tam
I spadac razem do wody strugami deszczu.
Potem idac lasem nasluchiwalem o czym szemrza drzewa.
A co kryja w milczeniu,
czy wiedza juz o mnie ptaki,
a o czym nic nie slychac.
Mchy jak zwykle uparcie milczaly,
zaslaniajac sie przy probie nacisku
przytulnym dotykiem.
A wokolo pelno zdobnych kapeluszy,
smuklych nozek surojadek i muchoborow
Wylegly na spacer po lesie calymi rodzinami.
Inne jeszcze, odwaznie wypusciwszy sie na laki,
czochraly sie namietnie wsrod traw.
Kanie plotkowaly w grupach
skryte dyskretnie pod swierkami.
Jedna,wyniosle smukla w ogromnym kapeluszu,
wygrzewala sie samotnie na granicznej przesiece.
To o niej wlasnie byla mowa.
Rozrosly stary maslak
Bezwstydnie pochylona nad nim dzika roza
wabila czerwonym koralem, kolyszac sie lekko, lecz zupelnie nadaremnie.
Szukalem wilkow
przechodzacych ostatnio z poludnia na nasza strone,
by choc z daleka spotkac je oko w oko
I odejsc swoj droga
Ale tego dnia byly gdzie indziej.
Pozostaly mi rzadkie glosy ptakow,
laki i pola u stop
I zalesione wzgorza w oddali,
z lustrem wody u podnuza,
odbiciem ziemi i chmur.
Chwilowy pejzaz bezczasu i bezruchu.
Panujacy nad okolica Swiety Spokoj
przenikal wszystko na wskros.
Tylko wiatr ma tutaj cos do powiedzenia.
Ale teraz i on zapadl sie w siebie i czekal,
a trawy wyszumiawszy sie noca,
pokladaly sie miekko i bezwolnie,
przyjmujac milczaco moja obecnosc,
wylegiwanie sie i zanurzanie
powolnej i cichej przemiany materii,
w rytm poruszenia pluc,
pulsowania jednego miesnia,
ktory ostatecznie decyduje o wszystkim.
Rozkolysany Ziemia bujalem w oblokach,
zeglujac po chmurach na wietrze,
na barkach ramion,pecherzach pluc,
na skrzydlach ptaka niczym lotni!
po Niebie
po Wodzie
Az przez lustra tafle
wejrzalem w rybe po drugiej stronie
przejrzalem jej nagle ciala poruszenie
w powirze wody odebrane od Weza Glebiny,
w otmetach toni ukrytego.
To dla Niego spietrzono wody rzeki
I ulano schronienie u podnoza gory.

Translation - English NIEDAMIROW OCTOBER
River at its spring
Like a shepherd of clouds, am sitting on a hill watching around
Although I am on the edge of the Earth and the Sky
its not easy to encompass what I see
fluffy white clouds
bringing sky nearer
down-hill meadows at my feet
strip of forest at my back
with border nobody looks after
Hardly anybody walks there
Or even nobody
I was thinking together with the wind, supervising clouds
Showing them the way to North and to the bay
They love to gather there
To fall down as stream of rain
And than when walking through the forest I was straining my ears
to catch what trees are murmuring
and what they keep in silence
do birds already know about my existence
And what can't be heard at all
forest moss as usual was mulish mute
trying to cover themselves
when only I try to press them a bit
. With my snug touch
And around so many decorative hats
slender legs of some toadstools
They went out for a walk with their whole families
Others plucky pushed themselves forth to meadows
Shafeling passionately between grass
Edible mushrooms were gossiping in their groups
Discreetly hidden underneath spruces
One haughtily slim with a huge hut on
Was basking in the sun by herself at bordering cutting
She had been talked about
well developed old mashroom
was staggering on his well settled leg
He can't be distracted by anything in such a state
immodestly leaning over him a wild rose
trying to lure with her red coral
Was swinging gently but quite in vain
I was searching for wolves
coming from South to our side
to see them face to face even from a long distance
To return my way afterwards
But that day they were somewhere else
Just some uncommon voices of birds were left
some meadows and field at my feet
some wooded hills far off
with mirror of water at their base
With reflection of Earth and clouds
Transient landscape of no time and no movement
Saint peace reigning whole neighbourhood
Was penetrating through it all
Only the wind had still something to say
to sink into himself and to wait
All kinds of grasses having had some fun
during previous night
lied down passively and tenderly
Accepting my presence with silence
basking in their soft and warm from sun
brushwood
Almost motionless picture of the world didn't reveal
slow and quite metabolism
in the rhythm of motion of the lungs
pulsation of one muscle
Which decides about everything for good
Swung by the Earth I was day dreaming
navigating across clouds with the wind
on shoulders of my arms, bladders of my lungs
On wings of bird like on hang-glider
across the sky
across the water
all the way through the water-level
I inquired into fish on the other side
I looked through her body sudden commotion
received in whirl of water from The Snake of Depth
Hidden in vortex
it is him for whom waters of river were poured
For him shelter at the foot of hill was stacked.

Source text - English JUST WORDS
I'm sorry. The waterfall was just words.
This is our bed.The birds never said
Join us. They wanted to
but they didn't know how.I'm sorry
that the tent sleeps in a Co-op bag for life
in the wardrobe. I'm sorry about the stars we can't see
and the mountain we didn't reach.
I'm sorry that it doesn't stop.
What if I turn it all off?
Listen.That's me,
stopping the hissing of the water
and padding back from the bathroom.
I brush past the shirts on the rail and click the main
light switch.The curtains whoosh
and the sound changes colour.
A pint of water lands on your table.
I'm tactile-careful in the dark, and slow.
Here I am.That's my voice.
I'm lifting off the roof. A hundred years shut
but it comes without a sight.I'm stopping
the traffic and dimming the streetlights,
the ones in your head.I'm muting those
old arguments that go nowhere
It doesn't matter if beautiful
things are called spiritual. Not to us.
We're bats,lovelier than birds.
We're talking in sonar.
We can't hear ourselves.

SLOWA JEDYNIE
Przepraszam,
Ten wodospad to
jedynie slowa.
Oto nasze lozko
Laseczki nigdy nie powiedzialy
Przylaczcie sie do nas
Chcialy ale nie wiedzialy jak
Przepraszam, ze namiot
spi w szafie
w torbie na zycie z Co-op'u.
Przepraszam, za gwiazdy
ktorych nie jestesmy w stanie dojrzec
ani za gory
na ktore nie mozemy sie wdrapac .
Przepraszam, ze to sie nie zatrzymuje
Co by bylo gdybym nagle
sam wszystko powylaczal?
Posluchaj.
To tylko ja
zatrzymuje szmer wody
Bez dalszego obwijania bawelny
zakrecam kurek.
Przy pomocy pedzla
czyszcze przeszlosc na torach
Wciskam swiatlo glowne.
Zaslony tworza odglos podmuchu
Ktorego dzwiek zmienia kolor
Szklanka wody laduje na twoim stole
Jestem mily w dotyku w ciemnosci
i powolny
Oto ja.
Oto moj glos.
Podnosze do gory dach tego domu.
Sto lat trzaslo z odglosem
przelecialo i nie ma potrzeby wzdychac.
Zatrzymuje ruch uliczny
przyciemniam swiatla ulicy.
I te w twojej glowie.
Wyciszam stare klotnie,
ktore do nikad nie prowadza.
Nie ma wiekszego znaczenia
czy nazywamy rzeczy piekne
duchowymi.
W kzadym razie bez znaczenia dla nas.
Jestemy nietoperzami piekniejszymi od ptakow
Mowimy po ksiezycowemu
I nie slyszymy sie nawzajem.

THUNDERSTORM/SPRING SOFT RAIN FALLS
Lighting brightens the night for a moment.
The imprint on mind lasts longer.
Thunder rolls around the sky.
Thunder rolls around the sky.
Rain keeps falling.
My folks are sleeping unless the rainfall on the roof,
the thunder or the lighting woke them.
Lighting gets brighter.
Thunder gets louder.
Rain falls harder,shakes the leaves.
I hear a roar off northeast of here.Sounds like a train.
Like a train horn blowing, like a train rumbling.
Train or wind, it's moving down now, away.
Rain falls gentle now.
There's a smell in the air:I can't tell you about it.
Crickets singing now.
What else can be said
about a regular old spring storm?
`
Piorun rozrasni na chwile noc
Ale jego odcisk w umysle potrwa dluzej
Burza zawiruje po niebie
Pada deszcz
Przyjaciele spia mimo kropel uderzajacych o dach domu
Obudzi ich grzmot pioruna
Jego blyski stana sie jeszcze jasniejsze
A jego dzwiek spoterznieje
Deszcz uderzy mocniej az zaczynie potrzasac liscmi
Uslysze dzwieki dochodzace z polnocnego-wschodu.
Brzmiace jak odglos pociagu
Cos jakby dzwiek klaksonu czy trobki
Uslysze jak sie bedzie toczyc
po torach
Pociag czy tez wiatr oddala sie Deszcz zacznie padac delikatniej
W powietrzu uniesie sie zapach
o ktorym trudno mi bedzie cokolwiek
powiedziec
Uslysze spiew swierszczy
Co jeszcze Wam powiem
W banalnym temacie wiosennej burzy

Source text - English The Art Of Showing Off
It’s just me – and the deep blue sea
Nothing more – nothing more except for...
My friends chanting my name rhythmically
And crowds of passers by who’ve stopped
to see what all the fuss is about
Saying “Look at this idiot”
And I know
That they mean me - and the deep blue sea
And me – perched precariously
On a wall, on a pier and there is no fear
(Actually, there’s quite a lot of fear)
Heart is thumping adrenaline pumping
waiting for the moment that I’ll be jumping
And I’ll take flight but I think I’ve lost sight
of the fact that I am TERRIFIED of heights
(What am I doing?!)
But my mind is set and
I won’t regret this is serious business
‘Cos this is a bet with one of my mates
And you don’t chicken out of a bet... with Boris
I must confess my initial distress
is superseded by a feeling that I’m needing to impress
My first thought is to get it over and done with
But then I think to myself
“There’s a crowd here.
I’m going to milk this situation – for all its worth”
(A little bit like I’m doing now).
My arms are spread and I’m on one leg
I’ll make the audience beg and I say “Ommmmm”
And the crowd say “Ommmmm”
And the ominous “ommmm” like a bee gone wrong
Or a tone deaf mermaid with a REALLY rubbish song
Is beckoning me into the void
And it’s me – and the deep blue sea
And the crowd and the wall and the seagulls call
and we are all as one
As I leap...from the pier and the audience cheer
Something is replacing the sensation of fear
For a millisecond, suspended in midair
I experience the illusion of flight and invincibility
Followed swiftly
By the inevitability
Of gravity
And a wall of freezing water
which slaps me back into reality
As the crowd disperse
I’m a bag of bones bobbing on the waves
It’s just me – and the deep blue sea
But for thirty seconds
I was a hero.

Mowia :
”Popatrz na tego idiote”
I juz wiem
Serce wali mocno adrenalina pulsuje w zylach
Mowie do samego siebie
"Tam jest przeciez tlum"
"Wyciagne jakas korzysc z tej opresji bo warto"
( Toche tak jak teraz w tym momencie)
Wymachuje ramionami stojac na jednej nodze
Zmuszam publicznosc do blagania i wymawiam
buddyjsckie “Ommmmmm”
I tlum krzyczy “Ommmmmmm”
zlowieszcze “ommmmm”jak bzyczenie pszczoly
ktorej sie we lbie pomieszalo albo
I tlum i murek i krzyk mew
Jestesmy jednoscia
Zrywam sie wreszcie z tego molo a publicznosc
sie rozchmurza
Cos zastepuje to uczucie strachu
Przez ultra sekunde co zawisa w powietrzu
Doswiadczam iluzji walki i bycia niepokonanym
krok w krok sledzony
Przez nieuniknione
Sily przyciagania
I te sciane lodowatej wody
Bylem bohaterem
