I am currently based in Paris and have 1 year of professional translation experience.I have always loved foreign languages and cultures which led me to achieve a degree in foreign languages and then a master’s degree in Translation with Distinction. Throughout my studies I obtained practical translation experience in a wide range of text types such as marketing, financial, children’s books and medical translations to name but a few. I then went on to work inhouse for a translation company for six months where I honed my translation skills and gained valuable experience in post-editing, proofreading and Trados SDL Studio. During this time, I mainly worked with financial, medical and touristic texts and I am, therefore, particularly skilled at working with these text genres.
