Bio
I am currently looking for German transcription or translation freelance jobs. I am living in Hungary, in a town where almost everyone speaks German and Hungarian, so I learned both languages at a very young age. For me it was self-evident, that I would like to work in this field, speaking and teaching languages. I went to a German school and after I graduated there, I went to Budapest to study German Linguistics and Literature. I made my Master’s degree here in 2009 and I also became a German teacher. During and after my studies I worked for several online platforms including Skype, eBay Germany, TeszVesz.hu, Vatera.hu. Later I also worked as a teacher in a German High School and also for the Goethe Institute in Germany. During these jobs I always did translations, different documents for the school, for the websites I worked for, letters, e-mails.I made my certification as a German translator in 2015. Since then I completed translation assignments for one of the largest construction companies in Hungary, I am in touch with several websites, where I translated texts for marketing purposes mostly. I also participated in a project where translators could work voluntarily for the Hungarian organisation RIROSZ (organisation for people living with rare and congenital diseases) and help them finish their website. Lately I also took part in one of Appen’s transcription projects, and I am working with a hungarian copywriting company to translate from Hungarian to German. Thank you for reading!
