Translation - English International organizations such as the World Bank, UNCTAD and the OECD argue that there is a positive correlation between service-sector growth and the economic prosperity of a population. This paper attempts to determine whether this correlation applies to a state like Oaxaca, where the service sector has been growing in the last 40 years. For this purpose the growth of the service sector in relation to other economic sectors is investigated and their relative performance is determined. This performance contrasts with that of the Mexican economy as a whole and with the Federal District. Differences in their growth rates and their relative contribution to GDP (Gross Domestic Product) are taken into account. The importance of the service sector in Oaxaca is correlated with the population’s level of prosperity in terms of per capita income, and its relationship to the annual minimum wage is calculated. Research shows that the economy of Oaxaca has been characterized by an increasing share of the service sector, similar to the cases of the baseline regions. Furthermore, the phenomenon of the growing importance of services has not been accompanied by a growth in society's prosperity, as might be expected according to international agencies.
Translation - English Cylindrical-parabolic concentrators (CPCs) are solar collectors that transfer thermal energy from concentrated solar radiation in the line-focus collector to a working fluid. Upon heating the fluid, the temperature is elevated within a range of 35°-300°, making CPCs ideal for a range of industrial processes.
Solar concentrators are composed of a reflective collecting surface, a receiver, the fluid, and an electromagnetic system for solar tracking. Generally, the concentrator’s surface is made of a polished metal plate or an aluminum plate with a reflecting film. This paper presents the design and construction process for a parabolic prototype solar concentrator that uses an acrylic plate as the reflecting surface. To achieve efficient performance, manufacturing techniques aided by CAM software were used in creating the surface support structure, thus guaranteeing a parabolic shape.
For purposes of demonstration, an acrylic-finished mirror plate was temporarily used as the reflecting surface. The experimental results show that its use is viable in industrial processes such as the distillation of mezcal.

Translation - English Jesus was casting out a demon, and it was mute. It was easy, beloved, for the Lord Jesus to cast the demon out from this person; without Jesus’ permission and authorization the demon could never have gone into him. For in all creation’s great variety, there is nothing that the Father did not create and does not rule through his Son. Therefore he let the demon enter the man when, how, and for the purpose that he wished, and he cast it out when and how he wished.
He who was casting out the demon there with his bodily presence is the same person who before, afterward, and today casts out demons wherever they are cast out. He casts them out with divine power by means of any person he wishes—angels or human beings, the good or the wicked—and in whatever manner he wishes: by prayer, invocation, enchantment, plants, stones, or any other method. All power in heaven and on earth, of course, belongs to him. He has always had this power from the Father according to his divinity, and he received it at a certain moment according to his humanity. All power has been given to me in heaven and on earth. He openly taught of this power at a specific time and place so that people would always and everywhere truly believe it.
Translation - English This paper presents a technique for correcting uneven illumination in microscopic images through the modification of the radial model (settings function). A background image is generated by which the correction can be made. This model also provides better results than the Cartesian model. The former considerably reduces the standard margin of error, given that it yields a range of 29.19 to 48.5, whereas the Cartesian model yields from 46.84 to 14481.64. Making this correction is important because uniform illumination allows for the segmentation and tracking of the objects contained in the image (cells, contaminating agents, etc.).
