Spanish to English: Alcance y validez de una oferta / Scope and validity of an offer General field: Law/Patents Detailed field: Law: Contract(s)
Translation - English Scope and validity of an offer
An exporter that only wishes to announce a potential availability for an approximate price uses a terminology such as orientated price, our offer is subject to the availability of existence and remaining offer. For the buyer it a sign of a good opportunity to buy the cotton in question, an agreement is always reached regarding the indicated price. Yet when the exporter is not obliged to sell, the buyer will be annoyed if the exporter refuses to do so without apparent motive (e.g if it is wanted to collect information regarding prices).

With a firm offer but nevertheless, the seller will be obliged to sell whenever the buyer accepts the offer within the scope of validity. The sellers shall determine the time that the offer expires. The same is valid for the offers of the buyers : these also have to be specific. Offer subject to an immediate answer means that it will have answer immediately, but this is not a precise term, as it is always better so say something such as, on the condition that we may receive a response later than 15:00 hours, local time.

Bachelor's degree - Bangor University
Experience
Years of experience: 9. Registered at ProZ.com: Sep 2019.
I am a native English speaker born in the UK and having learnt Spanish (up to C2 level); after living in three different continents and countries whilst remaining a citizen of two of which (United Kingdom and New Zealand) I have procured a variety of different manners and techniques in which to express myself, within the bounds of both the English and Spanish Languages.
Previously I have studied Spanish Language at Bangor University, Wales with my specialisation being in Translation. During this time at university, it was necessary that I translated many texts to a professional standard which can be seen through the professionalism that I bring to my work within the translations that I complete. When translating I aim to keep the exact meaning and significance presented in the first language and transpose this into the second language (whether this be English or Spanish) without losing its original meaning yet, feeling of the text but also without adding detail which was not present in the first text.
Whilst growing up in modern world filled with with many different languages and cultures, this has driven me to seek a life of languages to break down the barriers of communication between my own and different cultures. After achieving qualifications from the University of West London and spending time at Bangor university, I took the opportunity to lay the foundations for my career and live in Mexico for a year, this instilled in me a thorough, comprehensive knowledge of not only the Spanish language but English too.
Working in Mexico as the Official Legal Translator at TASO provided me with the opportunity to refine these skills in a more professional, higher standard environment with my specialisation here being in contracts, agreements and communications between businesses. This was my role every day for a year which laid the foundation for a good knowledge of advanced and complex vocabulary and grammar in practice, necessary to work in the translation field. The experience I procured in Mexico is invaluable and makes me stand out in contrast to many of my peers where I needed to be in contact with the language I had studied day in and day out in a real world setting. In my work I am capable of translating and transcribing legal, business, economic and general documents and audio
During my time in Mexico working as an English Tutor, I gained a thorough insight and deep knowledge into my own language both through Grammar but also with syntax too as I needed to teach other people how to use my own language which required me to have a concrete knowledge about my language that could be tested at any moment need it be. Many people say that if you want to learn something to a complete depth you should teach it, I am testimony to this, to be an English Tutor you need a full, well rounded concrete knowledge of the language you’re teaching. To teach someone a language one needs to be able to express oneself in that language but also know how to and why, which is also what makes me different in contrast to many other translators. While in Mexico I acculturated myself into Mexican life and culture thorough every means possible in order to better my grasp on the Spanish language and my understanding of it.
