I studied a 4-year-undergraduate degree in Translation and Interpreting of Spanish, English and German at the University of Granada and completed a specialization course on Legal Translation afterwards.

I studied abroad as an exchange student at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Germany and at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
During my degree, I localized software and webpages and translated legal and technical texts. I particularly enjoyed audiovisual translation and accessibility, including subtitling for the deaf and hearing-impaired, audiodescribing for blind people and dubbing. Moreover, I did consecutive and bilateral interpreting. For my bachelor thesis I translated a literary work from Spanish into English.

I have professional experience after working in the Translation Department of the company Ofilingua S.L. for a year, where I mostly managed translation projects and translated legal and medical documents from English and German into Spanish. I also acquired experience as a proofreader of professional translations.

I am currently working as a freelance translator and looking for new clients and challenging projects.

I am able to produce work of a high standard on a consistent basis and have excellent organizational and time management skills. I am a dynamic and flexible person, who has a global mindset and who embraces diversity and multiculturality. Furthermore, I have the ability to work successfully under pressure and under tight deadlines.

I have good working knowledge of MS Office and of Translation Memory tools such as SDL Trados Studio, along with the terminology management tool SDL Multiterm, and Aegisub, a tool for creating and editying subtitles.
