I have been studying or using Arabic since 1998. I am an Arabic Linguist and graduate of the Basic and Advanced Arabic (GPA 4.0) courses in Monterey, CA. I received my BA in Arabic language and Middle Eastern studies at the University of Texas in 2015. I have a passing knowledge of Arabic dialects by national boundary. I have some additional study in the following languages: Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and a minimal introduction into Pashto. I do not consider myself fluent in these languages, only Modern Standard Arabic and English. My most recent ILR scale test for Arabic to English document translation was in May 2020 and resulted in a 3+.
