I have been working as a freelance translator since early 2015 while attending mt MA in Translation Studies at Cardiff University (Cardiff, Wales).

Since 2017 I have started working as a freelance subtitler and dubbing translator for several projects, from film festivals (Venice Biennale, Nordic Film Fest Rome, L'Isola del Cinema, River to River Indian Florence Film Fest etc...), production houses and online media platforms (mostly involved in subtitling original series and documentaries).

Since mid-2017 I have been managing a group of freelance translators (4-5) specialized in audiovisual. Together we work on subtitling movies and documentaries for film festivals and screenings. My role is to coordinate the single project, divide the workload among my colleagues and managing the relationship with the client. Basically, I am the Project Manager and administrator of the group. My aim is, in a few years, to establish our own translation agency, focused on audiovisual translation.

Since 2018 I have been collaborating with an independent recording studio (Pyramid Production, Rome), where I took care of the dubbing department of the studio: here I am the one who coordinates all the stages of dubbing projects and works: from the translation and localization of the audiovisual text to the scouting of the voices (thanks to my experience and connection with several casting companies and audiovisual environments we can provide a wide range of voices, accents, and languages with our trained voice actors), from the recording to the post-production and delivery of the final project.
