Bio
I have 7 years experience in translation and editing. I am a scientific graduate and I’ve worked in research, pharmaceuticals and for the national health service (NHS) as a Genomics Scientist.I grew up in the Middle East but I attended a British International School and I have spoken English and Arabic since I first started to speak. To me, they are both my native languages. I am a scientist but I am also a middle distance runner. Perseverance is key to both running and translation when you want to deliver a perfect picture.
I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders (CIEP). The CIOL and the CIEP are both professional bodies in the UK that ensure translators, interpreters, editors and proofreaders all work to exceptionally high standards.
